There are different rules for different teas. What is really important is:- choose fresh tea- choose those with less dust or broken parts- some teas hould have stems, some shouldn't - depends on a type- color should be vibrant, not dull
Why? All kinds. It's difficult to give general rules, each tea is different. But those can be applied to all types in my opinion.
