How much water do you use to steep blooming tea?

There are many different views on the amount of water to be used when brewing blooming tea. It's important to use enough water to let the flowering tea fully unfold so you can enjoy it visually, but for one tea ball, how much water is best to achieve the best tasting Silver Needle white tea.

I think one blooming tea ball is like 2 teaspoons of tea, right? If so, I would use 2-3 cups of water per bloom.

Do you know what color it should be also? Mine was so light, but tasted so good...

If you are brewing a blooming tea that is made with Silver Needle, then the color is going to be a very light honey color, plus some light shades from the bloom itself. Do you know what type of tea is in your tea flower?

I like my Silver Needle tea super strong, so I put one bloom per cup and I drink it with the bloom still in the cup

Oh that's pretty strong. I'm on 2 cups water per bloom. And I really love the color.
